Fight! Fight! Fight!!!

Have you ever heard the word haka?
It is a traditional dance form the Maori of NZ. It is a posture dance with shouted accompaniment, performed by a group. It called War Cry in English.
This dance shows players threat, fighting mind. Haka are not exclusively war dances, nor are they only performed by men.

Especially the All Blacks perform a haka immediately prior to international matches. Many teams have a lot of types haka. Various actions are employed in the course of a performance, including facial contortions such as showing the whites of the eyes and the poking out of the tongue, and a wide variety of vigorous body actions such as slapping the hands against the body and stamping of the feet. As well as chanted words, a variety of cries and grunts are used.

The song in this dance is sung in Maori.
I think Japan has no performance like that! I really want
to see the haka.
I would like to introduce the song of Haka

Haka (War Cry)

Ka mate! Ka mate!
Ka ora! Ka ora!
Ka mate! Ka mate!
Ka ora! Ka ora!
(I die! I die! I live! I live!)
Tenei te tangata puhuru huru
Nana nei i tiki mai
Whakawhiti te ra
(This is the hairy manWho fetched the SunAnd caused it to shine again)

A upa ... ne!
ka upa ... ne!
A upane kaupane whiti te ra!
Hi !!!
(One upward step!
Another upward step!An upward step, another.. the Sun shines!!)
