Fight! Fight! Fight!!!

Have you ever heard the word haka?
It is a traditional dance form the Maori of NZ. It is a posture dance with shouted accompaniment, performed by a group. It called War Cry in English.
This dance shows players threat, fighting mind. Haka are not exclusively war dances, nor are they only performed by men.

Especially the All Blacks perform a haka immediately prior to international matches. Many teams have a lot of types haka. Various actions are employed in the course of a performance, including facial contortions such as showing the whites of the eyes and the poking out of the tongue, and a wide variety of vigorous body actions such as slapping the hands against the body and stamping of the feet. As well as chanted words, a variety of cries and grunts are used.

The song in this dance is sung in Maori.
I think Japan has no performance like that! I really want
to see the haka.
I would like to introduce the song of Haka

Haka (War Cry)

Ka mate! Ka mate!
Ka ora! Ka ora!
Ka mate! Ka mate!
Ka ora! Ka ora!
(I die! I die! I live! I live!)
Tenei te tangata puhuru huru
Nana nei i tiki mai
Whakawhiti te ra
(This is the hairy manWho fetched the SunAnd caused it to shine again)

A upa ... ne!
ka upa ... ne!
A upane kaupane whiti te ra!
Hi !!!
(One upward step!
Another upward step!An upward step, another.. the Sun shines!!)

My Special Summer

I’d like to talk about my summer vacation. Most of days, I had part time jobs, but I had two big events in this summer. First, I went to house which my friend’s many times. Some of my friends are live near my house, so we gathered and stayed at house each other. We did many things, for example, doing fire work, playing cards all night, and talking about our childhood. Times past quickly, we laughed and laughed and laughed. It told me that how important friends for me. I thought that they like my sisters and brothers. I certain that we are able to be good friends each other in the future.

Second, we visited Gifu Prefecture for English summer camp for four days. In this camp, I could make a lot of new friends. All of activities, throwing water balloons, and playing game of musical chairs, are make us excite. We too get excited to sleep easily because we played cards for a long times and talked and laughed at useless talk for in to the night every day. In spite of lack of sleep, we spend time in lively fashion. I had really good times! How about you? How was your vacation?

Good Smiling

Do you know the movie which called “PATCH ADAMS”? PATCH ADAMS is a name of an actual person. He is a doctor who set up his patients laughing with his joke. He set up his own hospital in 1971, but this hospital examine free! He thought that laughing is helpless for disease. So he posed as a clown and walked around in the hospital. He made his patients laugh. This is good example that laugh is good for health. For patients, laughing gives strength to fight with disease, reduce a pain, and make them happy. If you clik here, you can get more information about this movie.

This movie is one of my best clips. This clip says Japanese prefectures like an English. In the middle of it, people speak with a trill and change their voice. This expression makes me laugh! Moreover, they make a lot of new words by matching two words. I think that it is a trick only Japanese. I can’t see it without laughing. I’m convinced of you are made laughing by this movie!(Click here right now! )

*After seeing...*
How was the movie? It is really funny, isn’t it? Now, you are a member of this class in this clip! Let's say in loud voice “Chiba!Shiga!Saga!”
